Captain James Percival Hodgkinson

Lived at George Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham. Son of James and Susan Amelia Hodgkinson, of Riverlyn House, Fiskerton, Nottinghamshire. He was an insurance clerk prior to enlisting. He was commissioned Lieutenant 14th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 1st February 1915 and posted to the 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 24th March 1916. He went to France 24th March 1916 and was killed in action, 2nd November 1916, aged 24, by German shellfire, whilst in the line near Arras, France.
