Husband of Pollie Alice Hinckesman, of 44, St. Peter’s Road, Handsworth, Birmingham. He enlisted at Birmingham 7th December 1915 and was transferred to the 5th Reserve Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 15th December 1916. He went to France 16th December 1916 and was killed in action, 3rd May 1918, age 34, whilst out on a wiring party, near Vaudricourt, France.
