British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Ripley, Derbyshire and lived at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Son of Arthur William and Florence Hill, of 15, Redcliffe Road, Mansfield. He enlisted 9th September 1914 at Mansfield and went to France 25th February 1915. He was killed in action, 15th June 1915, age 20, whilst serving in the line at Kemmel, Belgium.
