Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Thomas William and Emma Henson; Husband of Harriet Alice Henson, of 6, Birke Street, Alfreton Road, New Radford, Nottingham. He was a lace bobbin and carriage hand prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 15th September 1916, aged 29, during the attack on the German lines near Guillemont, France during the Battle of the Somme.
