Battalion : 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Hallam, Sheffield. Son of George and Hannah Henderson, of 57, Arnold Road, Old Basford, Nottingham. Enlisted at Nottingham and went to France on 27th December 1914 and was killed in action, on 11th March 1915 aged 30, during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
