He was born and lived at Retford, Nottinghamshire. Son of John and Hannah Heath, of 85 Albert Road, Retford. He was a General Labourer prior to enlisting at Retford. He went to France 26th August 1915 and died of wounds at No. 13 General Hospital, Boulogne, France 12th December 1915.
