Born and lived at Derby. Son of John and Mary Jane Harvey, of 11, Becher Street, Derby. He enlisted at Derby and was killed in action, 26th June 1915, aged 19, by a German shell whilst repairing dugouts at Sanctuary Wood, Belgium.
