Lieutenant Conway John Hart

Battalion : 16th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Mr. R. W. L. and Fanny M. Hart, of 24A, Victoria Road, Upper Norwood, London. Commissioned into the Sherwood Foresters as Second Lieutenant 18th October 1915 and was promoted Lieutenant 22nd August 1916. He was wounded at Ferm Du Bois, France, 12th July 1916 and was killed in action 10th October 1916, age 34, in the attack at Schwaben Redoubt, Thiepval, France during the Battle of the Somme.
