Lance Corporal Arthur Harrison

Battalion: 1/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of William and Elizabeth Harrison, of Sneinton, Nottingham, Brother of Herbert Harrison, of 3, Model Place, Walker Street, Nottingham. He was a printer’s boy prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 25th February 1915 and was killed in action, 24th April 1917, aged 21, when a German 8-inch shell burst in the courtyard of battalion headquarters at Lievin, France.

Buried: Canadian Cemetery No.2, Neuville-St. Vaast, France. Plot 4. Row B. Grave 1.
