Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of James and Millicent Ellen Harriman, of 33, Osberton Street, New Basford, Nottingham. He was a lace threader prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 17th July 1916, aged 19, whilst battalion at Aizecourt la Bois, France.
