British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Ilkeston, Derbyshire and lived at 14 Abbey Street, Ilkeston. Husband of Ethel Henshaw (formerly Hardy). He was a Coal Miner prior to enlisting at Ilkeston and served at Gallipoli during 1915. He was killed in action, 19th September 1916, by German shellfire whilst serving in Constance Trench, South of Thiepval, France during the Battle of the Somme.
