British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Killamarsh, Derbyshire. Son of Charles and Elizabeth Handley. Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. S. Wells, of Barlborough Park, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He enlisted at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and went to France 17th February 1915. Killed in action during the attack on Rouge De Bout, France, 9th May 1915, age 18, during the Second Battle of Artois.
