Lance Corporal Walter Goodwin

Son of John and Rebecca Goodwin. Husband of May Goodwin, of 9 Magson Terrace, Seymour Street, Carlton Road, Nottingham. He was a Lamp Lighter prior to enlisting at Nottingham 9th September 1914.

He went to France 28th February 1915 and was appointed Lance Corporal 4th April 1916. He was killed in action, 25th May 1916, whilst serving in the line at Foncquevillers, France.
