Private Frank Goodwin

Battalion: 2/5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Newbold, Derbyshire. Son of John and Mary Goodwin, of 160 Selwyn Street, Hillstown, Bolsover, Derbyshire. He was a colliery labourer prior to enlisting at Bolsover. He went to France on 29th August 1915 and was killed in action, on 26th September 1917, during the British attack at Otto Farm, near Gravenstafel, near Ypres Belgium.
