Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Garman and Sarah Jane Gascoyne, of 54, Bacons Lane, Derby Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He went to France on 17th December 1914 and was killed in action, on 11th March 1915, aged 28, during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
