He lived at 8, Traffic Terrace, Netherfield, Nottingham. Son of Mr. W. Gale, of 14, Godfrey Street, Netherfield, Nottingham. He was a Chairmaker prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He died at a Casualty Clearing Station 2nd June 1917.
