British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Ipswich, Norfolk and lived at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Son of Charles and Florence Flaxman, of 22, Ladysmith Terrace, Spital Lane, Chesterfield. He was a fitter and turner prior to enlisting 27th April 1912 at Chesterfield. He went to France 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 18th April 1915, age 21, whilst engaged in digging a communication trench at Kemmel, Belgium.
