Born at Chesterfield, Derbyshire and lived at Hasland, Derbyshire. Son of Richard and Emma Fisher, of 53, Saunders Terrace, Hasland. He enlisted at Chesterfield and went to France on 27th August 1915. He died of wounds, on 2nd July 1916, aged 20, received during the attack on the German positions at Ovillers, France, on the 1st July 1916.
