Born at Brockham, Surrey and lived Ashtead, Surrey. Son of Alfred and Emily Fisher, of Brockham, Surrey; Husband of Alice M. Fisher, of Merrycourt Cottage, Great Bookham, Surrey. He enlisted at Hastings, Kent and was killed in action, 8th October 1916, aged 26, during the attack on the Schwaben Redoubt, near Thiepval, France during the Battle of the Somme.

Buried: Connaught Cemetery, Thiepval, France. Plot 9. Row D. Grave 5.
