Battalion: 11th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of John Francis and Emma Fearn; Husband of Annie Saxelby (Formerly Fearn), of 14, George Street, Waterloo, Sydney, Australia. Went to France on 29th August 1915. Killed in action, on 1st July 1916, aged 29, during the attack on the German positions near Ovillers, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
