British War and Victory MedalBorn at Bulwell, Nottingham. Son of Harry And Elizabeth Ann Faulks, of 46, Latham Street, Bulwell, Nottingham. He was a pawnbrokers assistant. He enlisted at Nottingham 11th December 1915 and went to France 9th July 1916. He was appointed Lance Corporal 22nd June 1916. Was wounded by shrapnel to his buttock 8th August 1916 and was admitted to No.3 Stationary Hospital, Rouen. He rejoined his battalion 16th September 1916 and was killed in action 10th January 1917, age 20.
