Born at Salisbury, Wiltshire and lived at 54 Market Street, Eastleigh, Hampshire. Son of Frederick Thomas and Emma Sarah Farrier, of 9, Court Farm Gardens, Epsom, Surrey. He was a retail boot trade assistant prior to enlisting at Plumstead, London. He was killed in action, 18th November 1917, aged 24, whilst serving in the line near Polderhoek, Belgium.
