Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Samuel and Emma Farnath, of 80, Trafalgar Street, Radford, Nottingham. He was a packer in a cotton mill prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 26th September 1917, aged 22, during the attack near Wieltje, Belgium.
