Born at Brownhills, Staffordshire. Son of James and Eliza Everton. Husband of Mary Everton, of 18 Sherbrooke Road, Daybrook, Nottingham. Was a miner at Newstead Colliery. Enlisted August 1915 at Nottingham, went to France 6th March 1916 and was killed in action 1st August 1916.
