Born at Edensor, Derbyshire and lived at Bonsall, Derbyshire. Son of William Elliott. He was a Farm Labourer prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 14th July 1915 and died of wounds, 9th November 1916, at No. 34 Casualty Clearing Station, Meaulte, France.
