Born at Nottingham and lived at 2 New Yard, Chapel Street, Nottingham. Son of William and Annie Easom, of 28, Cambridge Street, Daybrook, Nottingham. Husband of Eliza A. Easom, of Taylor’s Yard, Chapel Street, Radford, Nottingham. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 26th October 1916, whilst in the line near Trones Wood, France, during the Battle of the Somme.
