Born at Greengates, Bradford, Yorkshire. Son of Joseph and Emma Earnshaw, of 52, Ashgrove, Greengates. Husband of Emily Earnshaw. Enlisted at Bradford and was the Battalion signaller. He died of Pneumonia, 22nd February 1917, age 21, at 13th General Hospital, Boulogne, France.
