Born at Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottingham. Son of William And Harriett Dyson, of Radcliffe-On-Trent; Husband of Edith L. Dyson, of 168, Noel St., Nottingham. Was a teacher at the Ropewalk School, Nottingham. He enlisted 14th June 1915 and served in Egypt and then in France and Flanders. Killed in action 4th November 1918, age 40.
Buried: Sebourg British Cemetery, France. Row A. Grave 22.
