British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Hasland, Derbyshire. Son of William and Ann Duroe, of 244, Derby Road, Birdholme, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He enlisted at Chesterfield and went to France 18th August 1915. He was killed in action, 9th February 1917 aged 30, during a raid on the German trenches at Mazingarbe, France.
