British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Clay Cross, Derbyshire. Son of Henry and Matilda Dixon, of 4, Lime Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He was a Colliery Pony Driver prior to enlisting 5th August 1914 at Nottingham. He went to France 9th February 1915. Was in the hospital in Boulogne for three weeks before dying of wounds 7th March 1915, age 25.
