Born 30th October 1882 at Buckhurst, Chigwell, Essex. Son of James M. Dietrichsen; Husband of Beatrice Agnes Morgan (formerly Dietrichsen). He was educated at Chigwell School, Essex and at Cambridge University, where he was a member of the officers training corps, leaving in 1904. He became a barrister of law and lived at 5 Western Terrace, The Park, Nottingham. He was commissioned into the 2/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters 14th November 1914 and became Captain in 1915. He went to Dublin 26th April 1916 and was killed the same day, age 33.
