Born and lived at Bulwell, Nottinghamshire. Son of Thomas and Sarah Dickinson, of 15, China Street, Bulwell,; Husband of Florry Dickinson, of 29, China Street, Bulwell. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting 3rd September 1915 at Nottingham. He died of wounds, 25th November 1916, aged 35, at No. 46 Casualty Clearing Station, Contay, France.
