He enlisted at Newark and received a commission into the 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby’s) 25th April 1917.Regiment Son of Capt. William Evelyn Denison, J.P., D.L., and Lady Elinor Denison, of Ossington, Newark-On-Trent.He died of at Amiens 26th March 1918, aged 39 of wounds received at Curlu Wood.
