Second Lieutenant William Homer Dean

Born at Liskeard, Cheshire. Son of Richard and Clara Dean, he served in the South African campaign from 1899 to 1902, as a volunteer with a Cheshire regiment Battalion: He went to France 28th February 1915 and was commissioned into the 7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby’s) Regiment. 21 st August 1915. He was killed in action11th October 1915 in the attack on the Hohenzollern Redoubt.
