British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Retford, Nottinghamshire. Son of Arthur Davison and Mary Dennis Davison, of Rectory Place, Hospital Road, Retford. He was a platform porter prior to enlisting at Retford. He went to France 14th July 1915 and died of wounds 28th August 1915, aged 25 his brother Privatw George Davison 1st battalion Yorkshire Regiment also fell 6th November 1918.in the Great war.

Buried: Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium. Plot 3. Row C. Grave 33.
