Born and lived at Retford, Nottinghamshire. Son of Arthur Davison and Mary Dennis Davison, of Rectory Place, Hospital Road, Retford. He was a platform porter prior to enlisting at Retford. He went to France 14th July 1915 and died of wounds 28th August 1915, aged 25.

Buried: Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium. Plot 3. Row C. Grave 33.
