Husband of Martha Davis, of 2, Orchard View, Mansfield-Woodhouse, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted at Mansfield and was killed in action, on 8th August 1916, aged 21, whilst serving in the line at Le Hamel, France.
