Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Kettlebrook, Warwickshire and lived at Tamworth, Staffordshire. Son of Harriett E. Davis. He enlisted at Birmingham and went to France on 31st May 1915. He was killed in action, on 31st July 1917, in the attack near Bellewaerde Lake, Belgium, near Ypres.
