Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Sarah Davidson, of 8 Howard Street, Nottingham. Husband of Annie Sophie Davidson, of 27 Marcus Street, Nottingham. He was an upholsterer prior to enlisting on 9th December 1915 at Nottingham. he went to France on 18th July 1916 and died of wounds, 27th April 1918, at No. 5 General Hospital, Rouen, Nottingham.

Buried: St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France. P. 9. D. 6A.
