Battalion: 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica Son of  Joseph Rodriques and Hannah DaCosta. of 54 East Queen Street, Kingston. He lived at 58 Daneville Road, Camberwell, Surrey. He was a journalist prior to enlisting on 31st July 1916 in London. He went to France on 28th April 1917 and was transferred to the 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, on 24th September 1917. He was killed in action, on 13th October 1917, aged 41, whilst consolidating the line near Hazebrouck, Belgium.
