Born and lived at Pinxton, Derbyshire. Son of James and Mary Cutts, of Alfreton Road, Pinxton, Derbyshire. He was a grocer’s assistant prior to enlisting at Alfreton, Derbyshire. He died of wounds, 10th August 1917, aged 27.
