Born in Manchester and lived at Derby. Son of Margaret Curzon, of Derby. Husband of Phoebe J. Curzon, of 59, Northumberland Street, Derby. He was a labourer in the carriage and wagon department at the Midland Railway at Derby prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France on 29th August 1915 and was killed in action, 1st December 1917, age 45, in the attack at La Vacquerie, France.
