Born and lived at Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Son of Walter and Mary Curzon, of Waterloo Yard, King Street, Southwell. Husband of Daisy Calcraft (formerly Curzon), of 61, Westgate, Southwell, Nottinghamshire. He was a twist hand at E. Carey & Sons, Southwell, prior to enlisting at Newark, Nottinghamshire. He went to France on 2nd March 1915 and was killed in action, 23rd March 1918, aged 32, during the German attack on the British positions at Hermies, France.
