Born at Spondon, Derbyshire. Husband of Alice M. Culley, of 133, Washington Road, Sharrow, Sheffield, Yorkshire. He enlisted at Kiverton Park, Yorkshire and went to France on 14th July 1915 and was killed in action on 1st November 1915, aged 30.
