Bor 10th April 1892 at Nottingham. Son of Captain Edmund Arthur and of Rose Cuckson, of 28, Elm Avenue, Nottingham. he was educated at Huntingdon Street, Council School, Nottingham. Enlisted at Nottingham and joined 7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, November 1909. He went to France on 25th February 1915 and died of wounds at 64 Casualty Clearing Station, Mendinghem, Belgium.

Died: 18th April 1918, aged 27.
