Battalion: 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Eckington, Yorkshire and lived at New Whittington, Derbyshire. Brother of Mary E. Bell. He enlisted at Sheffield and went to France 29th June 1915. He was killed in action, 29th September 1916, whilst in the line near Lesboeufs, France during the Battle of the Somme.
