Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Alfred and Jessie Crosby, of 32, Maud Street, New Basford, Nottingham. He was a law clerk prior to enlisting in September 1914 at Nottingham. He went to France on 6th March 1915 and was killed in action, 9th May 1915, age 20, in the attack on Rouges Bancs, France.
