Born and lived in Dublin, Ireland. Son of Richard and Katherine Cronin, of 49, Lansdowne Road, Dublin. He enlisted at Grove Park, Kent. He was killed in action, 7th June 1917, aged 24, in the British Attack at Hill 60, near Ypres, Belgium.
