Battalion: 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Kimberworth, Yorkshire. Son of Charles and Eliza Cresswickm of 19 John Street, Worksop, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted at Worksop in 1914 and was killed in action, 9th July 1916, whilst serving in the British line near Fricourt, France during the Battle of the Somme.

Commemorated: Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
