Born at Alfreton, Derbyshire and lived at Silkstone, Derbyshire. Husband of Gertrude Cram. He enlisted at Derby and went to France on 9th December 1915. HE was killed in action, 25th February 1917, whilst serving in the trenches near St. Vaast-en-Chausse, France.
